I'm so happy it's spring! The snow is finally melting and the rivers are roaring. It was a very long winter!! Snowmass ended it's 2022-23 season with a total of 409 inches. That's 143% of its season average for October through March, based on records dating back to the 1994-95 season, according to Aspen Skiing Co.
The real estate market seems to be softening after a 3 year boom. Although, there's still little inventory and prices are higher than ever, we are seeing properties sit for longer and more price reductions occur. Property owners are a-buzz with assessor values as some have increased over 200%. If you need any help or would like me to pull comps for an appeal, please let me know. Appeals are due by June 8, 2023 with determinations by June 30, 2023.
Hope you enjoy the updates!

Navigating the City of Aspen's remodel scene is hardly a walk in the park. It ended up taking 1.5 years for permits and another 6 months of construction. I understand why buyers are willing to pay a premium for new construction! Let me know if you'd like help navigating a place that needs a little TLC.
Cheers,
Jennifer
